Hartley Family Farm is a working cranberry farm in Rochester, Massachusetts, offering visitors a hands-on look at one of New England’s most iconic fall harvests. Our family has been growing cranberries for over 20 years, and each fall we open the farm for cranberry bog tours led by members of our family. Guests can choose from tractor-pulled wagon tours or walking tours while learning how cranberries are grown, cared for, and harvested. During harvest, guests have the opportunity to put on waders and step right into a flooded cranberry bog surrounded by floating red cranberries. It’s a unique experience and an incredible photo opportunity that lets visitors experience cranberry harvest in a way they normally only see in pictures. Hartley Family Farm is family-run, and our tours are personal, fun, and educational. Whether you’re interested in agriculture, exploring New England, or looking for a memorable fall activity, we love sharing our farm and the cranberry harvest with visitors. Located in Plymouth County, we’re an easy trip from Plymouth, Cape Cod, the South Coast, Boston, and Providence.
